My health journey started back in college when I experienced a slew of health issues including fatigue, brain fog, skin issues and difficulty sleeping. I bounced around to different doctors who all told me the same thing it was either “all in my head” or they would prescribe me thyroid medication. Like many of you, I was frustrated with the lack of support and general concern from health practitioners. I started experimenting on my own and exploring what different diets and foods would help my symptoms. I stumbled across functional nutrition and was truly blown away with how much control we have over our own health and how almost all chronic diseases can be reverrses through diet and lifestyle interventions. And I would love to work with you and empower you to take control of your own health!


It All Started When I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's...
I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s when I was in middle school. At the time, I was experiencing gut issues and difficulty finding foods that did not irritate my stomach. I figured it was just genetic, and it was just something I would live with my whole life. My Hashimoto symptoms exasperated when I went to college, and it made it difficult for me to get through my school work and have the energy to go out with friends.
I took a nutrition class for the first time and that changed how I viewed my diet and the impact that food plays in our overall health and wellbeing. I was seeing improvements in my energy levels, mood and body after making small tweaks to my diet. This catapulted my desire and love for nutrition, and I started incorporoating more nutrition prinicpalas I was learning.
But Then Everything Changed...
I took a nutrition class for the first time, and it completely transformed how I viewed my diet and the impact that food, sleep, and lifestyle play on our overall health and well-being. Before this class, I struggled with low energy levels, brain fog, and a general sense of dissatisfaction with my health. However, as I began making small tweaks to my diet based on my learning, I saw significant improvements. My energy levels improved, and my body felt rejuvenated. This was my turning point.
Seeing these positive changes ignited my passion for nutrition. I immersed myself in learning more about nutrition principles and how whole foods and lifestyle changes could heal the root of health concerns. The more I learned and implemented, the more profound the changes I experienced. I loved the whole-health approach to healing and was inspired by how food, supplementation, and lifestyle modifications could bring about sustained improvements.

The silver lining of my journey is the deep empathy and understanding I have gained, which profoundly influences how I serve my clients. My experience with health issues, followed by a transformative shift through nutrition and lifestyle changes, has equipped me with unique insights that enhance my ability to connect with and support my patients.
Experiencing my own barrage of health issues allowed me to understand the struggles my patients face. This empathy fuels my passion for helping others navigate their health journeys. It also informed the creation of my personalized approach, focusing on integrative and functional nutrition to address the root causes of health concerns.
Having experienced the frustration of not finding answers and discovering the profound power of nutrition and lifestyle changes, I crafted practical and effective solutions. My programs involve comprehensive reviews of health histories, in-depth consultations, and tailored dietary and lifestyle guides.
